REX MU (rexmu.online) is a private MU Online Season 6 server, operated under the name REX MMORPG. It's a fan project, not affiliated with the company that officially publishes MU Online.
This policy applies to the rexmu.online website, the REX MU Android app, and the game servers that are part of the same service. It is governed by Argentine law. Any question about this policy goes to support@rexmu.online.
This is everything we collect, on both the website and the Android app. We don't collect anything beyond what's listed here.
When you register, we ask for a username, email and password. Logging in uses username and password. Changing your password requires your username, current password, and new password. Your password is stored by the game server's own account system.
Purchases are processed through MercadoPago. The website never receives or stores your card data — that stays entirely on MercadoPago's side. All we record for each purchase is your account id, the currency, the amount, the transaction id, and an internal reference.
The game server logs IP addresses as part of its security systems: connection anti-flood limits and connection tracing.
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used.
The site loads the Cinzel and Inter typefaces from Google Fonts' servers (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Loading those files reveals your IP address to Google as a technical side effect of how Google Fonts works, not something we separately choose to share.
Client download links point to Google Drive, MEGA and MediaFire. These are third-party sites with their own privacy policies; we don't see or receive anything that happens there.
REX MU has in-game player chat. Chat messages and gameplay activity are processed on the game server as part of the normal operation of the service — more detail in Chat and user-generated content.

REX MU's Android app has exactly one external dependency (androidx.core). It does not include Firebase, Crashlytics, or any analytics, advertising, or attribution SDK — we confirmed this directly in the project's Gradle build configuration.

In-game chat is a real-time space for players to interact, moderated according to our community rules. If you see a message or behavior that you think breaks the rules, email us at support@rexmu.online with the details (username, and the approximate date and time) so we can review it.
While your account is active, we keep the data needed for it to work: username, email, characters, and purchase history.
You can request account deletion from the app (in the account section) or directly on this page, without needing the app installed. The request requires verifying your password.
As a user of a service operated from Argentina, Ley 25.326 (Argentina's data protection law) gives you these rights over your data:

If you're not satisfied with our response, you can file a query or complaint with the Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública (AAIP), Argentina's data protection authority: argentina.gob.ar/aaip.
You must be at least 13 to create an account. If you're between 13 and 18, you need authorization from a parent or guardian to play and, in particular, to make any in-game purchase.
The website never receives or stores your card data — MercadoPago processes that directly. Beyond that, we don't publish specific security certifications here.
We may update this policy if what we collect or how we use it changes. The last-updated date always appears at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we'll announce it somewhere visible on the site.
